ANALOG SPECIFICATIONS

INPUT IMPEDANCE

SIGNAL PATH
- Each dual analog board has separate high/low signal paths. Specialised analog boards available for TDEM and other functions

POWERLINE FILTERING
- The signal path has an 11/21-notch, processor-tunable powerline filter for both even/odd harmonics

OTHER FILTERING
- High/low pass filters; gain; offset adjustment; programmable anti-alias filters; all under processor control

GAIN/DC OFFSET
- Automatic or manual control, range of 0.25 to 4096. Low range path has processor controlled DC offset control, range: ± 5 volts

CALIBRATION
- Automatic self-calibration, under processor control, with built-in calibration/test signals

SENSITIVITY
- Sufficient for stand alone controlled source applications; for natural signal applications (MT or AMT sensor processor unit(s) required

DIGITAL SECTION

PROCESSOR/CPU BOARD
- 32 bit processor and math coprocessor, programmable interrupt controller with 16 request lines. Multibus interface, DIN connectors. Separate coprocessor for keyboard and display. On board real time clock.

MONITOR FIRMWARE
- Monitor firmware interfaces to National 32000 series software development tools. Also provides run time environment, terminal handler, debugger execute module, floating point support module and interrupt handler.

CPU BOARD MEMORY
- 256 Kbyte static RAM + 512 Kbyte ROM or 512 Kbyte RAM + 64 Kbyte ROM.

ADDTIONAL MEMORY
- Max. 40Mb RAM + 1Mb EROM. Optional expansion to 240 Mb of non-volatile solid-state memory

SERIAL I/O
- Two RS-232 ports with programmable baud rates up to 115 kbaud throughout.

PARELLEL I/O
-16 bit port with max. 0.5 MHz transfer rate.

TIMING
- Internal crystal clock; processor-controlled resetting for synchronised operation with other V-5's. Optional external precision clock input.

A-D CONVERSION
- 16-bit resolution, 500 kHz conversion rate.
